Cherry Hills Village, Colorado
Jennifer A.MillerFor Mayor
In brief: Jennifer is running for Mayor of Cherry Hills Village in the November 3, 2026 election. A 13-year Village resident and former Vice-Chair of the Planning & Zoning Commission, she helped lead the citizens’ taskforce behind the 2022 Master Plan. She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting and a law degree at the University of Denver, has served as an oil and gas company CFO, and has 17 years of federal service, which includes litigation and regulatory drafting, at the U.S. Department of the Interior.

Why Jennifer A. Miller is running
This is home. I’m running to keep it that way, and to make it even better.
Jennifer Miller’s story is one of humble beginnings, determination, hard work, and a lifelong commitment to service.
The daughter of a career United States Army soldier who met her mother while stationed in Seoul, South Korea, Jennifer was born and raised in Seoul. When she came to the United States, she learned English as her second language. Growing up with limited financial resources, Jennifer learned early that perseverance, education, and hard work could open doors that once seemed impossible.
After attending Cherry Creek High School, Jennifer pursued her education at the University of Denver, earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting. While working in public accounting, she attended law school at night, ultimately earning her law degree from the University of Denver.
For the past 17 years, Jennifer has served as a federal attorney, specializing in litigation and regulatory drafting. Her career has been dedicated to upholding the law, navigating complex legal challenges, and ensuring that government operates within the boundaries of the law.
But Jennifer’s connection to Cherry Hills Village began long before her professional accomplishments. As a student at Cherry Creek High School, she dreamed of one day calling Cherry Hills Village home. That dream became a reality, and with it came a profound appreciation for the community’s unique character, peaceful neighborhoods, rural beauty, and enduring traditions.

The issues
A plan built on what neighbors actually said.
Safe Streets & Smart Traffic
Traffic is the topic residents raise most at City meetings. I will push for independent school-day traffic counts, share every Franklin & Belleview option with neighbors before a vote, map safe routes to school, and back speed enforcement where residents see the problem.
Read the planCell Service That Works
Residents need coverage to call 911, reach doctors and family, and work from home. I will make a solution a priority: review every proposal and option, gather residents’ feedback, put it to a vote, and see it built. Emergency vehicles should have satellite communications so they are always reachable.
Read the planOur Village Character & Local Control
Keep zoning local and defend home rule, including Ballot Question 2C. I have the experience to stand up to the State and protect the Village’s low-density, semi-rural character, with early notice, fair hearings, and conditions that are enforced.
Read the planParks, Trails & Quincy Farm
Protect parks, trails, the High Line Canal, and Quincy Farm, as voters did in 2022. I will consult the Farm’s neighbors first, maintain trails before we expand, and make sure residents’ concerns about current trail rules get an open public discussion.

The mayor of Cherry Hills Village presides over City Council, reviews the agenda, speaks for the City, and brings people together. As mayor, I will put the big questions on the agenda early, make sure the documents are public before the meeting, and make sure every neighbor who comes to the microphone is heard.
I will be an independent voice for residents, working with every councilmember to get to four votes on the things that matter.
