Jennifer served on the Cherry Hills Village Planning & Zoning Commission, including as Vice-Chair, and helped lead the citizens’ taskforce behind the 2022 Master Plan. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, she attended Cherry Creek High School and earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting and a law degree at the University of Denver. She has worked at a major accounting firm, served as chief financial officer of an oil and gas company, and has 17 years of federal service, which includes litigation and regulatory drafting, at the U.S. Department of the Interior, where she helped write a federal rule and defended it before the 10th Circuit, which upheld it. She has successfully tried complex financial cases. Her seven priorities, drawn from what residents have raised at City meetings since 2022, are safer streets, cell service that works, village character and local control, parks and trails, public safety, careful budgets, and a Village that works for every stage of life. Her approach is to listen to what residents want, inform them with plain facts, and act by making sure City Council hears and weighs what citizens want.
